Which Railgun achievement are you trying to unlock?

Choose the condition before planning an attempt. The official Steam achievement list separates four Railgun tasks. A distant hit, two consecutive kills, and one shot passing through several enemies are different objectives. Completing one does not establish that the conditions for another were met.

Accurate	Connect with the Railgun from at least 50 meters
Impressive	Kill two distinct enemies with consecutive Railgun shots
Double Whammy	Eliminate two enemies with one Railgun shot
All Lined Up	Eliminate at least three enemies with one Railgun shot

The wording for Accurate specifies a hit. The other three require kills. Damage that leaves the targets alive therefore does not satisfy their listed conditions.

How should you separate the attempts?

For a distance attempt, focus on whether you can establish the required separation and land the shot. For Impressive, the important distinction is two targets and two consecutive shots. For the multi-target tasks, plan around one shot and enough enemies in its path. These are interpretations of the conditions, not tested arena routes.

Do not convert the 50-meter threshold into an invented number of floor tiles or seconds of travel. This site has not measured an arena or verified a rangefinder method. Likewise, no exact penetration width, damage value, or guaranteed enemy formation has been established in the reviewed official material.

Why might a successful-looking shot not satisfy the goal?

Check the required outcome rather than just the visual effect. Two enemies hit is different from two enemies killed. Two kills from separate shots is different from Double Whammy. A long-range shot is not automatically a qualifying long-range kill for another weapon’s challenge. Compare the result with the exact objective you selected.
